About Limited Edition Art
The Artist’s Standard
The purpose of every Geisness Limited Edition Print is to provide you, the collector, with as close to an original oil painting as possible at a fraction of the price of the original. We provide you with a work of art that will stand the test of time. Printed on archival surfaces with archival inks, our prints are designed to be part of your family legacy. You can be confident knowing your family can pass down your art collection from generation to generation and that the quality of the original will retain its color and brilliance. Vibrant colors, rich textures and color tones accurate to Duane's original brushstrokes are the hallmarks of your finished piece.
The Capture
There are three elements in creating a Fine Art Print from an original oil painting. The process begins with “the capture.” The goal is to create a color correct digital file true to the original art.
Premium Supports
The support is the media on which the print is reproduced. The final reproduction depends on the quality and consistency of the support. I use two types of media for the different editions of my prints.
Archival Inks
All of my prints are reproduced one at a time using the finest UV resistant inks on a high-resolution, large format printer.
Hand Stretched
For collectors desiring canvas prints, I hand stretch each one using premium hardwood stretcher bars, using canvas tacks to assure a taught final product ready for framing.
Hand Highlighted
Each of my Master Medallion prints are custom hand-highlighted. Highlighting gives the final print a painterly look and feel. Your limited edition print will be as close to the original painting as possible.
Numbered and Certified
I personally sign every Limited Edition Fine Art Print. Each also bears a unique serial number that guarantees you are purchasing an original work of art. Our proprietary certification system helps you verify a work even before you purchase it.
Editions
My artwork is available in three Limited Editions. While edition, features, value and collectibility varies, each piece of artwork contains, at a minimum, an impeccable degree of care and craftsmanship.
