Why is buying collectible art so confusing?
Acquiring limited edition fine art prints can be a complex and confusing process.
I stumbled across a 2018 article in “Architectural Digest” the other night. It was titled, "You Should Be Buying Art Prints and Don't Let Anyone Tell You Otherwise."
I'm not quite sure how to feel about that since I sell Fine Art Prints. I sort of object to the condescending tone, which, unfortunately, seems a prevailing one in the art market today.
Of course, fine art prints go back to the Old Masters, including Dürer, Holbein (the Younger), Cranach (the Elder), and, of course, Rembrandt, to name a few. So the tradition is well established.
Today’s art market
However, today's art market is complex, confusing, and fraught with traps for the unwary. I discovered another website recently. There were over one hundred articles about the perils of collecting art. Here are just a few:

Don’t worry
I've been creating and selling fine art prints for over twenty years so that you don't have to worry like most collectors. I am among a very few artists who create the original artwork and make each print myself. That means that every print that comes out of my studio is original. Those I hand paint even more so.
Every print has a serial number to protect you from fraudulent copies of my work. For my hand-painted prints, I even supply a certificate of authenticity.
I make buying fine art prints easy and fun.
